FIND OUT MOREOur role is to act as a bridge between healthcare providers, commissioners, academia and industry. We connect these sectors to build a pipeline of solutions from research and product development through to implementation and commercialisation.
The needs of citizens are at the heart of our work. We ensure that new products and services are evaluated and supported by evidence and designed in consultation and collaboration with patients and the public.
With the support of our AHSN partner, we can demonstrate the implementation of evidence-based interventions that we estimate have prevented 1,000 readmissions to hospital; one case of cerebral palsy; 125 strokes through the introduction of mobile electrocardiography and associated services; 10 heart attacks and another 14 strokes through roll out of the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Healthy Hearts programme.
We are most grateful to the team at Yorkshire & Humber AHSN, who continuously support Tookie, not just with the funding that enabled Tookie to accelerate at an important stage of our development, but the wonderful subsequent support and mentoring, which has greatly assisted Tookie to navigate the NHS adoption Pathway.
This new northern cooperative will allow us to use digital pathology to help patients across the region, and provide a platform on which we will develop artificial intelligence tools for pathology diagnosis to be used around the world.
