Digital Health – if not now when?

Yorkshire & Humber Academic Health Science Network’s (AHSN) Head of Partnerships, Pippa Hedley-Takhar, will be speaking at a digital health innovation conference in Leeds on Thursday 28th April, which will explore some of the critical issues facing digital health innovation.

Through short presentations and panel discussions, delegates will look at:

  • How open source principles are being used to drive change
  • The critical role of interoperability in supporting data flow
  • How patients and health specialists can disrupt expectations of how care is delivered.

The conference will hear from a number of companies and innovators who are building and delivering new digital products to support the delivery of healthcare.

The event is sponsored by the Yorkshire & Humber AHSN, Answer Digital and EMIS Health. It has been organised as part of Leeds Digital Week, sponsored by Leeds Council and TechNorth.
