Digital technology has the potential to transform the way in which many health and care services are provided both now and in years to come. There are many opportunities to use technology to improve patients’ experiences of hospital care, reduce the need to travel for outpatient appointments and improve the efficiency and connectivity of local clinicians.
The Humber, Coast and Vale Health and Care Partnership has teamed up with the Yorkshire & Humber Academic Health Science Network to explore some of the technologies that are available today and learn about the impact they are making in our region and beyond. This event will give clinicians, service managers, commissioners and other partners the opportunity to explore what technology can do to support clinical transformation in our region.
There will be case studies from Trusts who have implemented change, along with presentations from innovators whose solutions have been shown to have a positive impact on improving outpatient services. In addition to showcasing solutions which can improve the management of outpatient appointments, there will be a particular focus on solutions within the following clinical areas:
The event supports the Humber Acute Services Review, the Scarborough Acute Services Review and the Humber, Coast and Vale outpatients’ transformation programme all currently being undertaken by the Partnership.
Registration is open to NHS staff only.
