This meeting highlights the key aim of the Clinical Research Network (CRN) to inspire, develop and support new researchers. This includes our early career researchers and those at different stages of their careers who are starting out in research. The meeting is for all Yorkshire and Humber researchers, the clinical delivery workforce, researchers in training across all professional groups and academic trainees.
The aspiration is that by 2040, one generation’s time, the Yorkshire and Humber population experience substantial and on-going improvements in physical health; mental health; health-related quality of life; and health equity, beyond the expected current trajectory.
In addition, Yorkshire and Humber researchers will have contributed towards UK and global health improvements and health and care strategies.Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss current research and new research ideas. We will hear about the support offered by the CRN for new researchers, some of the experiences of new researchers, an example of a trainee network and mentoring and support.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
