The Yorkshire and Humber Clinical Research Network is to hold a Vision 2021 meeting on Tuesday 31 July at the Principal, York.
The meeting will focus on the acceleration of medical technology to improve the healthcare of children and adults in the future.
It is one of four meetings hosted by the Network that will provide a joined up approach to overcoming current and future challenges in health and social care. The meeting will bring together public and private sector representatives to focus on the key health challenges of the future and to consider ways to overcome these challenges using medical technology.
Keynote speakers confirmed to date include:
- Dr Hakim Yadi OBE, Chief Executive of Northern Health Science Alliance whose topic will be “The Future of Medical Technology: A Regional Perspective
- Neville Young, Director of Enterprise and Innovation at Yorkshire & Humber AHSN who will discuss the Next Steps for Medical Technology Research and Innovation in the Yorkshire and Humber region
A full agenda will be released shortly and lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
