NHS England, the Shuri Network and the Yorkshire & Humber AHSN are inviting delegates to their Building Diversity in Digital Health: the Why and the How conference.
With 19.1% of staff in the NHS identifying as BAME, an inclusive leadership community reflecting the diversity of the NHS workforce and the population served is essential.
In partnership with TechUK, this event will shine a spotlight across the challenges that exist to ensure diversity and inclusion across supports the innovation and transformation ambitions for the communities they serve.

- BAME Innovators and Entrepreneurs: The role and the challenges for healthtech entrepreneurs
- NHS England People Plan: Delivering heritage, culture, potential and talents of all its workforce/wider community to the NHS

Who Should Attend : This free to attend event will appeal to members of the BAME community within health and care providers and healthtech start-ups, as well as senior figures in health and innovation working within diversity and inclusion and also HR staff in this sector. Carers and patients within this community who have an interest in health innovation will also benefit from this event.
As a follow on to our event, TechUK will be hosting their Spring Health and Social Care Industry on the evening of 21 April 2020 in Leeds.
