Medipex NHS Innovation Awards and Showcase 2022

We are delighted to support this year’s Medipex NHS Innovation Awards & Showcase 2022 as Silver Sponsors. The awards are designed to help identify and celebrate innovative activities of NHS staff and their collaborators.
As Silver Sponsors, we will be holding a breakout session with a focus on adoption into the NHS. The AHSN’s function is to accelerate the adoption and spread of technologies which have the potential to improve patient outcomes. The session will provide innovators with an overview of what they need to have in place for their innovation to be ‘adoption ready’ including evidence requirements, building a value proposition and the importance of health economic data. The session will be hosted by members of the AHSN’s Enterprise and Innovation Team who have a wealth of experience in supporting healthcare innovators with their adoption strategy.
This year’s categories include:
- Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve patient services and/or safety
Innovations designed to use AI to improve services (including hospital processes, diagnosis, screening, treatment and therapy) and/or improved patient safety.
- Improved treatments, therapies and rehabilitation
Innovations designed to improve treatments for patients, (including, but not limited to, treatments involving surgery and devices to enhance surgical outcomes), and improved rehabilitation interventions.
- Delivering benefits through diagnosis and screening
Innovations designed to improve the detection and diagnosis of health conditions or disease
- Improved processes and systems
Innovations that are designed to improve efficiencies and outcomes for service delivery organisations
How To Enter
The competition is open to NHS staff or anyone working with an NHS employee (e.g. a company, university or individual). Please note that entries must be led by an NHS organisation (or a CIC that delivers NHS services), but collaborative projects with universities or industry who may be outside the Yorkshire and Humber and East Midland regions are welcomed.
Entries open on Monday 1st August 2022.
Deadline – The closing date for entries is Friday 31st August 2022.
The Awards Ceremony
The awards will be held virtually on Wednesday the 12th of October 2022 when the finalists will be showcased and the winners announced.
