Yorkshire & Humber CEO named Business Leader of the Year in the Yorkshire Post’s Excellence in Business Awards 2021.

CEO of Yorkshire & Humber AHSN, Richard Stubbs, has been chosen as Business Leader of the Year 2021 in the Yorkshire Post’s annual Business Awards.
Last night, 47 companies came together for the awards ceremony at the Queen’s Hotel in Leeds. The Awards recognise a range of achievements from being an outstanding employer to Entrepreneur of the Year and Young Business of the Year.
Richard said: “It’s really humbling to be recognised in this way, and I’d like to thank the organisers Yorkshire Post for their kind words. As always individual awards are really about the team and our team at Yorkshire & Humber AHSN is the best I’ve ever had the privilege of working with. Thanks to them all for the work that they do which enables us to get this recognition.”
Richard has led the AHSN for four and a half years and in that time has taken on many other leadership roles including: Chair of the steering group for the NHS Confederation BME Leadership Network and is also the lead for the AHSN Network’s international projects.
Recently, Richard was elected as the Vice-Chair of the AHSN Network. In this capacity he plays an essential role leading and maintaining the collective ambition of the Network’s 15 AHSNs
