The Yorkshire & Humber Academic Health Science Network has officially opened nominations for its new Innovation, Improvement and Impact awards.
It is the first time that the conference will include an awards ceremony to celebrate the achievements of the region’s health economy and life sciences sector.
The award categories are:
- Patient safety achievement
- Performance through partnership
- Improving care through innovation or improvement
- Using technology to improve efficiency
- Best example of adoption and diffusion
- Best patient driven collaboration/innovation

The Innovation, Improvement and Impact Conference provides an opportunity for healthcare professionals and industry colleagues to learn more about the work of the Yorkshire & Humber AHSN and the benefits it is delivering both locally and nationally.
It will feature keynote speeches from service leaders on the themes of Today’s Challenges and Tomorrow’s Opportunities, Embracing Change with the healthcare sector and the Innovation Pipeline that is developing the solutions for future best and routine clinical practice.
There will be a series of presentations detailing examples of key projects in action and the benefits they are delivering.
Delegates will also be invited to visit our Ready Now Innovation Expo featuring innovators who are developing solutions that can support the challenges of delivering sustainability and transformation.
