Location: Currently Wakefield, West Yorkshire but relocation imminent along M1 corridor, within the Yorkshire area

Yorkshire & Humber Partners Academic Health Science Network (AHSN) Ltd is one of 15 AHSNs set up to create and harness a strong, purposeful partnership between patients, health services, industry, and academia. We exist to drive the adoption of innovation and improvement into the NHS.

After a successful first five years of delivery, we are evolving so that we can be agile, fit for the future and sustainable.  We are improving how we work internally and externally so we can form collaborative partnerships and can respond quickly to our stakeholders, citizens, members and partners’ needs. To do this, we are recruiting a new team and looking for fresh talent to join us on our journey.

Our new Chief Executive Officer needs an exceptional Executive Assistant who can hit the ground running with this complex, demanding but exciting role. You will be front and centre using your honed interpersonal skills to work with a variety of stakeholders in a strategic environment, be fully responsible for managing all aspects of the CEO’s office in addition to managing a range of work programmes.

The role requires you to have outstanding administrative skills, including diary and email management. As importantly you will also be responsible, on behalf of the CEO, for ad-hoc project work including preparing, researching and editing reports and detailed presentations.

You must have significant experience of providing a key support role along with great organisational skills, an eye for detail, be friendly, tactful and able to work on your own initiative.  You must be resilient and have communication skills that are second to none. You’ll need to be proficient in all Microsoft systems, know about different research methods and how to use them and be responsive to change.
