The Yorkshire & Humber Academic Health Science Network (AHSN) has established the Digital Health and Wellbeing Ecosystem, member of the European Connected Health (ECH) Alliance international Network of Permanent Ecosystems.
The Ecosystem brings together partners from health and social care, academia, industry, the voluntary sector and patient organisations, increasing the uptake of digital health technology and in turn, enhancing patient care.
The next Yorkshire & Humber Digital Health and Wellbeing Ecosystem meeting will take place on Tuesday 15 March at The Source, Sheffield.
The thematic focus of the meeting, as voted for by our Digital Ecosystem members, will explore self-management of long-term conditions, looking at the opportunities for apps, digital health and social media platforms use of data and behavior change.
The Yorkshire & Humber AHSN are very keen to ensure we have a good representation of NHS Stakeholders but realise that it’s not always convenient to attend our meetings. We would be delighted to come and talk to local Commissioners or Trusts. Please get in touch if you would like us to join or arrange a CCG/Trust meeting by e-mailing us here.
The Ecosystem is very much shaped by you, and we are welcoming volunteers to join a small working group. If you are interested in participating please email us here.
We hope you will join us on the 15th March.
