Product and Process Innovation – Leeds City Region, York & North Yorkshire

Product and Process Innovation (PAPI) is a grant funding project that aims to support SMEs in Leeds City Region, York and North Yorkshire who are innovating and developing new products, through providing a grant to allow them to purchase capital equipment to enable business growth. PAPI offers the following:
- 40 % Grants for the purchase of equipment that will lead to a new product or service
- Between £8k and £20k funding available (Maximum £20k grant)
- Expert guidance from an Innovation Advisor available throughout the whole project process
- Simple three step process (Application, Procurement, Claim)
The PAPI project aims to support 70 SMEs and is delivered by a project team within the University of York who offer free guidance and support throughout the whole process.
