New export project commences to support UK HealthTech Innovators enter the Nordic healthcare market

In partnership with the Nordic Proof Network, Health Innovation Yorkshire & Humber is delivering a project that supports UK HealthTech SMEs to export their innovations and engage with the Nordic health ecosystem, collaborating on a project together.
The Nordic territories have created some of the highest quality healthcare systems anywhere in the world, delivering the best possible care for their populations. This is at least in part because as a percentage of GDP, these countries also have some of the highest healthcare expenditures globally. There are lots of opportunities for UK based HealthTech providers, from both the public and private sector, to enter the Nordic healthcare system if they can help reduce expenditures whilst maintaining a high quality of care.
The Nordic Proof Programme is open throughout 2024, is available to SMEs with various health tech products, and will support innovators at any stage in their development.

- Clinical testing and validation opportunities
- Market introduction to the Nordics
- Efficacy studies
- Proof of concept / proof of value
- Contracted research services
- Expert panel workshop
- Usability testing
Nordic Proof is a network of primary and specialist healthcare providers from heath institutions and testing hubs in the Nordics. The network provides an initial one-point entry for companies looking to test ideas, products or solutions and supports all phases of development. Nordic proof is administrated by Norway Health Tech on behalf of the partners.
